Funeral services for Velma Faye James Mulkey, 59, were held at the Community Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Goodman officiating.
Interment followed Monday at Memorial Cemetery in Raymondville, Texas.
Mrs. Mulkey died July 12, 2000 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe after a brief illness. She was born July 28, 1940 in Raymondville, Texas, a resident of Franklin Parish, a homemaker and a member of Chase Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father Charles Ray James and a brother Darrell Ray James.
Suvivors include her husband, William A Mulkey, a daughter, Jennifer L Mulkey, sons Frederick W Mulkey and Phillip R Mulkey; mother, Pauline B James; brothers, Gary W James, Dennis James and wife Kay; Alan James; sister Sheryl L James; nieces Stephanie A James, Kristi N James; loving family and friends.
