He died at the home of his daughter Mrs. J.W. Threadgill near Cement, OK. This is where he made his home for the past two years since the death of his wife.

Surviving members of the family included three other children; Mrs. Florence Swaim, R.E. Wilson, and W.W. Wilson.

Jerald Lee Wilson is buried with a headstone in Lot 39, Grave 3, and Martha Jane Wilson is buried in Grave 4 without a headstone.
