Frankie Mae Stahl Owens, 89, of Russellville, died Friday, July 11, 2008 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.

The daughter of Frank and Rowena Mae Frair Holman, she was born April 2, 1919, in Plainview. She was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star, a local doll club, and was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Russellville. She was an avid reader and doll collector. She also enjoyed flower gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Berne O. Stahl; second husband, Virgil Owens; three grandchildren, Sandra Stahl, James Barnett, Nicholas Knight; one son-in-law, Billy Ray Owens; brothers F.C. Holman, Ceril Smith and Othel Smith.

Survivors include nine children, Nina Sullivan and husband Charles of Van Buren, Bernice Cook and husband Dr. Edward of Wichita, Kan., Danny Stahl and wife Barbara of Russellville, Arlene Thomas and husband Russell of Russellville, Loretta Dickey and husband Boyd of Subiaco, Sherman Stahl and wife Marilyn of Sallisaw, Okla., Angie Barnett and husband Bob of Chickasha, OK, Carol Massey and husband Roger of Leslie, AR and Mike Stahl and wife Tena of Russellville; 20 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Nola Holman of Russellville.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2008, at the First Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. Earl Stapleton and Rev. Blaine Rogers will officiate. Burial will be at New Bethel Cemetery at Plainview under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.

Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
