Mrs. Viola Allred Bowers Cottle, 47, 2414 Madison, died Sunday at her home.
Mrs. Cottle was born July 8, 1914, in Oakley, Idaho, a daughter of Bert T. and Ada Garner Allred. On Sept. 3, 1930, she was married to Delbert Bowers. He died in 1940. On Feb. 25, 1955, she was married to Carl Cottle in Evanston.
She was a member of the LDS Church.
She was reared and educated in Fielding and came to Ogden in 1934. She formerly worked at Ogden Arsenal and as a cook at Weber College. She had been a nurses' aid at the Mountain View Rest Home.
Surviving are two sons, Keith G. Bowers and Harold E. Bowers, Ogden; five grandchildren, her parents of Ogden, the following brothers and sisters; Loyal C. Allred, Mrs. John (Ruby) Holden, Merlin G. Allred, Elton R. Allred, Kenneth S. Allred, Mrs. Clark (Evelyn) Spiers, all of Ogden.
Joint funeral services for Mrs. Cottle and her husband, Carl Cottle, will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Aultorest Chapel of Flowers by Bishop Milton Hadfield of the Fifty-third Ward. Friends may call at the chapel Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday until services. Interment in Aultorest Memorial Park.
