Charlotte Jean Craddock
Duncan: Charlotte Jean Craddock, 61, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2011 at her home in Duncan.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at the First Baptist Church in Marlow, with Richy Large officiating. Burial will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery in Chickasha, under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow.

Charlotte was born Sunday, February 26, 1950 in Clinton, OK, to Albert John Childress and Zelda Mae (Kayser) Childress. Charlotte grew up in Chickasha and graduated from Chickasha High School in 1968. She lived in the Chitwood area since 1973 and in Duncan since 2009. Charlotte married Bud Craddock on May 8, 1971 at the Highland Hills Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was involved in every aspect of the family business, Craddock Oil Services. Charlotte loved her kids and family and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed music and singing. Charlotte's first passion was serving the Lord. She taught Sunday school and was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Marlow.

Survivors include,
husband, Bud Craddock of the home,
two daughters, Tera Brown and husband Todd of Duncan,
Jamie Craddock of Corinth, TX,
granddaughter, Gabrielle Renee Brown of Duncan,
brother, Terry Childress of Claremore,
two sisters, Sharon Cloukia and husband Larry of Chickasha,
Diane Hurley and husband Mike of Verden,
nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Clark Childress, mother-in-law, June Craddock.

Pallbearers will be: Josh Funk, Charles Tate, Monty Bishop, Randy Johnson, Robert Newman, Roy Morris. Honorary pallbearer: Ken Grooms

Note: Charlotte was the daughter of Albert and Zelda Childress buried close by. She is also the sister of Clark Childress.
