Charles Clinton Garrison was born to Clinton Garrison (1885 1952) and Hattie Garrison (1877 1974) on July 31, 1913 in Huntington Oregon. He was the second of their three children, Olive Mae Garrison, Charles Clinton Garrison and Elvin Benson Garrison. He married Carmel Waloma Coles and they had two children, Olivia and Candy. He was a good child, as were his sister and brother, their mother, their father Clinton's widow, Hattie Garrison lived with each of them in turns in her old age. He was a warrior for all of us in World War Two, serving in the US Army. He was a father who carried his baby daughter in his arms while singing/saying a soothing, simple, made up song which she remembers very well.
