Our community was saddened by the news of the death of Mr.s Ward. formerly of this place but for the last year residing in Chester PA, with her son John. She had been suffering with acute indigestion for several weeks. Her body was laid to rest beside her husband in Smithland cemetery. She leaves two sons, Sam and John, and several grandchildren.
