From the Bennington Banner June 28, 1971 Mrs. W. MORGAN BRIDGE
Mrs. Eva (Bruno) Bridge, widow of W. Morgan Bridge, died at Fairview Nursing Home Saturday morning after a long illness.
Born in Malone, N.Y., she was the daughter of Medrick and Emma (DeSauteles) Bruno. Her education had been received in Malone schools.
She was first married to Henry Eggsware on Sept 23, 1905. Mr. Eggsware died several years ago. Mrs. Bridge was married on Aug 13, 1957 to W. Morgan Bridge. Mrs. Bridge died April 2, 1961.
In her younger years, Mrs. Bridge had been employed in the various textile plants in Bennington. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Church.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Richard S. (Dorothy) Martin and Mrs. Elmer C. (Marie) Harrington Sr., both of Bennington; two sons, Francis R. Eggsware Sr. and Kermit M. Eggsware Sr., both of Bennington; 24 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and one great great grandson; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Perry of Malone, N.Y., and Mrs. Joseph (Grace) Mauriano of Norwich, N.Y.; one brother, William Bruno of Malone, N.Y.; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral will be held at Mahar & Son Funeral Home Tuesday at 8:30 am with a prayer and in St. Francis de Sales Church at 9 where a Requiem High Mass will be offered.
Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 8 tonight. Burial will be in the family lot in Park Lawn Cemetery.
If friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Bennington Rescue Squad through the funeral home offices.
