Funeral services were held Monday, December 6, 2004 in the Lunn Funeral Home Chapel with Dan Hooper and Harvey McQueen officiating. Internment followed at the Megargel Cemetery.
She was born in Olney, Texas(birth index gives Baylor County) to the late Perry(James Perry) and Mary Martha(Key) McWhorter. She and Gene Keller were married June 29, 1956 in Throckmorton, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of the Christian Fellowship in Megargel. She was a Megargel resident most of her life. She was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Don Kellar on January 28, 2003 and one sister Sonnie Barker on March 18, 1999.
Survivors include her husband Gene Kellar of Megargel, Texas; three sons: Randy Eugene Kellar and wife Irma of Olney, Texas, James Michael Kellar and wife Sondria of Olney, Texas, and Jimmy Ray Kellar and wife Tracy of Megargel, Texas; one brother, Bobby Perry McWhorter of Godley, Texas; one sister, Lahonda Keeter of Elbert, Texas; nine grandchildren: Miranda, Emily, Lindsay, Whitney, Dillon, Amanda, Bud, Hunter, and Madison.
