Entertainment Figure. Born in April 1959, at Colwyn Bay, North Wales, she became famous for her fashion sense as well as her lovers. She started out modeling and later became the host of a popular British television show called "The Tube." She married Bob Geldof, lead singer of the Boomtown Rats and Live Aid founder, in June 1986 and the couple had three daughters; Fifi Trixibelle, Peaches Honeyblossom and Little Pixie. After her marriage to Geldof ended, Yates began a relationship with INXS frontman Michael Hutchence and they had a daughter, Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily. Paula Yates was found dead in her home in London's Notting Hill area, on her daughter Pixie's birthday, 17 September 2000. The coroner listed the cause of death as "Non-dependant abuse of Heroin" - meaning Paula overdosed on heroin but was not a habitual user of the drug. After a moving funeral service in London, Paula's casket, covered with tiger lilies, was taken to Kent County Crematorium. The location of her ashes is unknown, although rumour has it that they are being kept in a vault for her daughters.
