Funeral Notice
Frederick Post - November 24, 1922

Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah V. Darby, widow of Charles R. Darby, who died Friday afternoon at her home, near Barnesville, aged 65 years, were held Monday afternoon from the family residence. Rev. Walter P. Griggs, formerly rector of the Episcopal church at Poolesville, assisted by the Rev. Dr. Griffith, present rector, officiating. Burial was in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.

The death of Mrs. Darby was very sudden. She was stricken while on the front porch of her home and died almost instantly. She is survived by the following sons; Dr. Taylor Darby, Dr. Samuel P. Darby, and Vaughan and Marshall Darby.
