Glenn M. Morrison, 75, died Thursday, July 4, 2002, at Select Specialty Hospital of Beech Grove. He was a resident of Greenwood.
He was born Nov. 6, 1926, in Bedford. His parents were Carroll A. and Pansy (Cooper) Morrison. He married Betty (Mikels) Morrison on Nov. 27, 1947. She preceded him in death Jan. 28, 1992. He then married Margaret Ann (Pruett) Morrison on Oct. 25, 1997. She survives. Survivors include three sons, Gary R. Morrison of Farmington, Mich.; Gregory A. Morrison of Houston, Texas, and Brent M. Morrison of Columbus; a brother, Carroll C. Morrison of Bedford; two sisters, Emily Batman of Clearwater, Fla., and Frances Stultz of North Vernon; two grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and a stepgreat-grandson.
He was employed for 36 years by Indiana Bell as a program manager, retiring in 1982. He was also an instructor for Central Nine Vocational School for five years, retiring 1989.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Greenwood, Greenwood American Legion Post 252, Greenwood Kiwanis Club and Telephone Pioneers of America.
He was a veteran of the U.S Army, serving in World War II.
Rev. Thomas M. Bridges will conduct a service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery with military services conducted by American Legion Post 252 Honor Guard.
