Jefferson Davis "Jeff" Chisum and Bessie Miller were married November 25, 1891 in Bandera County, Texas.

Jefferson Davis (Jeff) Chisum and his wife bought a ranch in Kansas, then they decided to
sell the ranch and move back to Bandera County, Texas. Cause of death was being
struck by lightening.

After Jefferson Davis "Jeff" Chisum's death, his widow, Bessie Miller Chisum, married Luke Dowe in Bexar County, Texas on March 6, 1906.
