Christina Rose Griffin Stone Weise, 52, of Springfield, died Monday, Jan. 19, 1998 at Battle Creek Health Care System in Battle Creek.
Funeral ser vices are 11 a.m. Friday at Helms Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Mr. Ivan C. Odor officiating. Burial will be in Kelly Cemetery in Midland County.
Christina was born March 31, 1945 in Ypsilanti, the daughter of Milton and Mary (Munro) Griffin. She married Thomas R. Weise ort Feb. 14, 1986 in Kissimmee, Fla.
She lived in the Battle Creek area for two years, moving there from Oil City. Christina was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, movies, game shows, playing Scrabble and her grandchildren
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Weise of Battle Creek; children, John E. Stone of Remus, Julie Stone of Topsail Beach, N.C., Jodi Stone of Big Rapids and Trina Kenyon of Coleman; father, Milton Griffin of Grand Prairie, Texas; 12 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Dave (Sue) Munro of Ithaca, Bill (Diane) Munro of Whitmore Lake, George (Theresa) Munro of Oil City, Jack (Dorothy) Munro of Shepherd, Angus Munro of Ypsilanti, Kathy Munro of Lansing, Jerry (Sandy) Griffin, Randy Griffin of Lansing, Roy Griffin, Donald Griffin, Connie Griffin, and Sandy Griffin, all of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Elizabeth Munro.
