Lexie "Jean" Bell, 84, of Rush County passed away at 6:00 AM, on Sunday April 17, 2011 at Avon, IN.
Lexie was born June 24, 1926 in Acorn,KY to Walter Adams and Rosa (Meadows) Adams both deceased. Lexie married Dallas H. Woods prior to marrying Wade Bell on September 23, 1963, and he preceded her in death on October 12, 1998.
Lexie worked as a nurses aide and was a homemaker. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Rushville.
She leaves behind one son, Stephen Woods of Rushville, IN four daughters, Mrs. Phillip (Sharon) James of Indianapolis, IN, Mrs. Steve (Susan) Cutter of Paoli, IN, Mrs. Richard (Mary) Mozingo of Rushville, IN, and Mrs. Mike (Marlene) Sterwert of Raleigh, IN, one brother James Adams of Connersville, IN, several grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents Lexie was preceded by one sister, and a son.
Rev. Jeff Edwards will preside.
