Loretta was born in Pittsburg County, Oklahoma, to the late Elisa Carl Holt and Ora May Boiles Holt. Her family moved to Texas when Loretta was quite young. On Dec. 29, 1956, she was united in marriage to Tracy Brown in Kopperl, Texas. Loretta was a long time beautician in Morgan where she was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tracy, in 1998; an infant son, Donald Tracy Brown; sisters, Mary Ruth Womack, May Gibbons, Faye Long and Lois Rowe and brothers, Bill and Carl Holt.
Survivors include daughter, Sherry Borgers and husband, Wayne, of College Station; grandson, Ben Borgers, of Denver, Colo.; great-grandchildren, Katherine and Abigail Borgers, both of Denver, Colo.; sister, Louise Eddins, of Ingram; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
