The remains were brought to Hixson Brothers Funeral Home Friday and final rites were conducted at Cypress Creek Church Saturday, May 16, with burial in the church cemetery under direction of Hixson Funeral Home.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Martha Postell, Abita Springs; one son, M/Sgt L. G. Postell, Lockbourne AFB, Columbus, Ohio; two stepchildren, Mrs. W. C. Alford of Alexandria and Edward Warren of Shreveport; five grandchildren; three step grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Betty Megison, Calvin, Ellen Borden, Oak Grove, and Cindy Borden of Pioneer; and one brother, Lee Postell.
