Frank worked as a butcher in South Fork, a saloonkeeper, and then later as a stage driver on the Briceland-Thorne Road. He married Agenite ("Aggie") J. Miller of Dover, New Jersey on 1 September 1892 in Garberville. Frank was 27 years old and Aggie was only 17 (her parents had to give their written consent as she was underage). Her family had moved to Briceland where her father Walter Miller was a blacksmith. In 1900 Frank and his little family were living in Westport, Mendocino County. He died the following year at the age of 33 in Garberville.
Aggie and Frank had three children: Thomas Leo, Anita Jennie, and Camille Parker. Thomas died at age 9 and Camille died also as a young child (born November, 1899). Only one child survived childhood, Anita.
