Mrs. Catherine Sherman, widow of John Sherman, died at 4:45 o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. P. Nease, in Tarentum. Death was the result of a stroke.

The body will be brought to the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. M. Behm, on Sixth Avenue, where funeral services will be held at 2:30 Monday afternoon, followed by internment in the Southside Cemetery.

Mrs. Sherman was a former Butler resident, but of late had been making her home with her daughter in Tarentum.

Cathryn/Catherine/Katie Sherman was born to Martin Byer/Byers and Maria "Mary" Welker/Welcher/Walker Byers.
