OBITUARY
William W. Chadwick.
Mr. William W. Chadwick, an aged and highly esteemed citizen of this town who died Wednesday, after a brief illness, at his home in Hatchville, was born in 1820, and was a son of Thacher Chadwick, who died in 1850. In early life Mr. Chadwick engaged in ship and house building, but for many years he has been a farmer. His first wife, Harriet N., was a daughter of Isaiah Hatch. At her death she left, one son, Willard N. and one daughter, Mary P. (Mrs. George H. Turner.) Mr. Chadwick's second wife, Hannah R., was a daughter of Frederick Davis. She died in 1897, leaving two daughters, Hattie F. (Mrs. Wm. D. Dillingham), and Annie W.(Mrs. Wm. E. Childs). Mr. Chadwick is survived by his four children. Funeral services will be held at his late residence today at one o'clock.
