She was born, a daughter of the late Commodore Perry and Susan Munford Perry. She was reared in Milam County and lived in Neches for many years before moving to Palestine 37 years ago. She was a Methodist.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, D.F. Brock and a daughter, Lucille Myers and a son, L.C. Brock.
Survivors include two daughters, Maybelle Brown of Roy, Washington and Lois Teel of Tomball; a sister, Bessie Selsik of Taylor; a brother, George Perry of Thorndale; eight grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 30 great-great grandchildren.
