Myrtle Lawson
SPRINGFIELD — A memorial service will be at noon, May 7, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2423 Seventh St., in Springfield, for Myrtle Lawson of Springfield, who died April 15 of age-related causes. She was 102.
She was born Oct. 18, 1908, in Marshfield, Mo., to Will and Alza Casteel. She married James Lawson on July 26, 1929, in Marshfield. He died June 8, 2002.
She was a homemaker and a seasonal worker.
Survivors include two daughters, Jeanyce Denning and Dorothy Romine, both of Springfield; and nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. A daughter, Louise Lawson, died Aug. 9, 2008.
Inurnment will be at Lane Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Alpha Cremation service in Eugene.
