Joseph B. McEnroe, 87, Amenia, died Aug. 15 at Geer hospital, Canaan, CT. He had served as the Amenia town supervisor for 18 years, being first elected in 1927. Born in Amenia March 21, 1890, son of Thomas & Mary O'Brien McEnroe. Married Lillian Kain on Apr. 24, 1918 in Hopewell Jucntion. She died Dec. 9, 1976. Survived by sister Mary Kain, South Amenia, and one brother, Raymond, Amenia; 5 nieces, 14 nephews.
