GENOA CITY, Wis. – Pauline A. Parker, 64, of Genoa City, died Friday, April 15, 2011, at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee.
The former Pauline Ann Brown was born Sept. 30, 1946, in Spring Grove, to Walter and Orian Elliot Brown. On Sept. 20, 1969, in Spring Grove, she was united in marriage to James M. Parker. He preceded her in death June 6, 2001. They lived in Hebron before moving to Genoa City in 1978.
She has owned and operated Parker's Service Station in Genoa City since 1974.
She graduated from Marian Central High School in Woodstock. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Richmond, where she played the organ for many years. She sang at many weddings and funerals.
She was a former member of the Genoa City Village Board and the Walworth County Board and was a recent member of the Hillside Cemetery Board. She enjoyed bowling, crafts, and being a member of the National Hot Rod Association. She enjoyed the companionship of her dog, "CJ."
She is survived by her mother, Orian Brown of Genoa City; a daughter, Tammy (Mike) Werblow of Elkhorn, Wis.; three sons, Kenneth (Stephanie) Parker of Genoa City, Philip (Tracy Mazzuca) Parker of Genoa City and Larry Parker of Genoa City; two stepdaughters, Deborah (Noel) Ditzenberger of Monticello and Marjorie (Jeffrey) Zeitner of Lafayette, Tenn.; two stepsons, James "Mike" (Wanda) Parker of Glascow, Ky., and Steven (Karen) Parker of Wheatland, Wis.; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Charles (Patty) Brown of Spring Grove.
She was preceded in death by her father and infant twins.
The Parker family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 29, at Haase-Derrick-Lockwood Funeral Home, 620 Legion Drive, Twin Lakes, Wis. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Richmond with Monsignor James McLoughlin officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery in Genoa City.
