Mrs. Rapp

Services for Mrs. Martha Evaline Rapp, 70-year-old former Floydada resident, were conducted in the Calvary Baptist Church in Floydada Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Rapp, who has resided in Seminole for the past two and a half years died about 12:30 p.m. Sunday in a Seminole nursing home.

A native of Wise County, born Nov. 20, 1903, the former Martha E. Sutton and Van C. Rapp were married August 26, 1925. The moved to Floyd County in 1933 where he died in 1961.

Survivors include a son, Olin Rapp of Hobbs, New Mex.; four brothers, Jack Sutton, Amarillo; Dennis Sutton, Ferris, Tex.; Lloyd Sutton, Canadian, and Clarence Sutton of Fort Smith, Ark.; three sisters, Mrs. Winnie Morton of Fort Worth, Mrs. Pearl Armes of Vernon and Mrs. Ethel Blewer of Memphis, Tex.; and three grandchildren.

Rev. Hollis Payne, pastor of the church, conducted rites. Interment was in Floydada Cemetery under the direction of Moore-Rose Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Robert Cannon, W. H. Mayo, Jim Price, D. C. Mayo, C. J. Payne and Bud Warren.
