Her husband was shot and killed while stealing pigs from Jacob Stalup when Caroline was pregnant with their 10th child.

MRS CAROLINE GLOVER
Mrs. Caroline Glover, 82, widow of the late Alpheus Glover, died Saturday evening at 8 o'clock at the home of B. P. Glover of Grant street, following a two weeks illness due to the infirmities of old age. Since the death of her son, A. A. Glover of Chester, a few weeks ago, the added mother's condition has been gradually growing worse. Last Wednesday afternoon Mrs. Glover was removed to the home of her son in Newell. She came to this section about nine years ago from Fayette county, Pa., where she was born. Her husband preceded her in death about 42 years ago. She was a member of the M. P. church. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Alberta Reckner of Somerfield, Pa., and four sons, as follows: S. D. and B. P. Glover of Newell; T. H. Glover of Rankin, Pa., and E. C. Glover, formerly of East Liverpool. She is the last survivor of her family. Funeral services were held at 10 o'clock this morning, from the home of B. P. Glover, Newell, Rev. Crapper, pastor of the Newell Presbyterian church, officiating. Interment will be made in Mill Creek Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Caroline Glover, mother of the late A. A. Glover, who died at his home on Florida avenue, Chester, a few weeks ago, died at 8 o'clock Saturday evening at the home of her son S. D. Glover, in Newell, from a complication of diseases, brought on by old age. The deceased was 82 years of age, and amost estimable woman. She was a life-long member of the Methodist Protestant church. She was born and reared in Fayette county, Pa., and her husband died 42 years ago. She took up her residence with her son, A. A., in Chester eight years ago, and after his death went to Newell to make her home with S. D. She is the last of her family. Besides her sons named, she is survived by the following children: B. P. Glover, Newell; T. H. of Rankin, Pa.; E. C. of East Liverpool, and Mrs. Alberta Reckner of Somerfield, Pa.
Funeral services were conducted at 10 o'clock this morning from the home of D. S. Glover, Newell, Rev. Mr. Crapper, pastor of the Newell Presbyterian church, officiating. Interment in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery.
