CLARKSVILLE — H. H. King, retired carpenter, who died at home here Friday at 10:30 p.m., will be buried in Fairview Cemetery Sunday, after service at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church. The pasotr [sic pastor] the Rev. C. Wade Freeman, Jr., will officiate, Jolley's Funeral Home making interment. Named pallbearers are James Jamison, David Busbee, Joe Conlan, Richard Thompson, Buster Lowe, and Bert Farrier.

Born in Louisiana, May 30, 1867, son of Mr. and Mrs. William S. King, H. H. King came to Clarksville as a young man. He was a Baptist.

He married Miss Elvira Wright of Annona, March 13, 1904, and she survives, besides these children: Rufus King, Earl King, Mrs. Charles Wolfe and Mrs. Buford Martin, Clarksville; Seth King, Runnemede, N.J.; Mrs. Leonard Hopper, Baytown, and Mrs. Mary Feazell, Nacogdoches, and 16 other descendants.
