Miss Hope Goodwin died this forenoon at her home in Islington Street.
She was the daughter of the late Ex-Governor Ichabod Goodwin of New Hampshire and lived all her ling life in this her native city. She was of a quiet, retiring dispostion and was highly esteamed by all her acquaintances. She attended the Unitarian church.
Her only brother, Frank Goodwin of Portsmouth, professor emeritus in boston University law school, is the only survivor of the family. A sister was the late Mrs. William Winder of this city and another sister was the first wife of Admiral Dewey. Miss Goodwin was the foster of the admiral's son.

FUNERAL OF MISS GOODWIN
The funeral of Miss Hope Goodwin was held at three o'clock this afternoon, at her late home on Islington street. The services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. Alfred Gooding of the Unitarian church.
She was laid to rest in the Goodwin tomb at the Proprietors' cemetery.
The Arrangements were in charge of O. W. Ham (?).
