Sharon Kay Ybarra, 70, of Brush, died Monday evening, April 4, 2011, at the East Morgan County Hospital in Brush.

She was born October 16, 1940, in Benkelman, NE to Fay and Alberta Stevens. She married Paul Ybarra September 2, 1958, in Weldona. They have made Brush their home for many years where she worked for the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center for over 26 years.

She enjoyed camping, fishing, reading, and spending time with her family especially her grandsons.

She is survived by her husband Paul of Brush; two daughters, Nina McKee and her husband Mark of Denver and Lori Pangle of Hudson; one sister, Connie Ridder and one brother, Dallas Stevens, both of Burlington, and four grandsons, Jeremiah Albert, Kenneth Pangle, Wauker Pangle and Colton Pangle.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Virgil Stevens, Norman Stevens and Dean Stevens and her parents.

A visitation was held on Thursday, April 7, 2011, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Brush.

A funeral service was held Friday, April 8, 2011, at 1 p.m. at the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Brush. Interment followed in the Brush Memorial Cemetery. The Heer & Dahl Mortuaries and Crematory was in charge of the arrangements.
