LAKE CITY -- Mrs. Jacqueline Moore McKenzie, 78, died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2002, in Providence Hospital after an illness.
Mrs. McKenzie was born in Georgetown, on Dec. 25, 1923, a daughter of the late Clarence Vernon and Ollie Nettles Moore. After attending Lake City High School, she graduated from Anderson College and was employed for more than 20 years at the University of South Carolina. She was a life-long member of Pergamos United Methodist Church in Lake City, and she was the wife of the late A.B. McKenzie of Kingstree.
Survivors include two daughters, Diana M. Dickson of Columbia and Amanda M. Griffin of Beaufort; two sons, A.B. McKenzie Jr. of Johnson City, Tenn., and Stephen M. McKenzie of Batesburg; a sister, Thelma Moore Wilson of Cades; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2002, in the Moore Cemetery.
Prior to the service, the family will receive family and friends at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Brockington Funeral Home, Lake City.
