T C Barbour Dies of Heart Attack
T/ C. (Doc Barbour, 75, of 302 Sylvan st., retired Southern Bell Telephone Co. employe died of a heart attack yesterday morning at his home.
The body is at the Cosmopolitan funeral home, 2408 West end ave., where funeral services will be at 10 a.m tomorrow. The Rev. James r. Cox will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery, Murfreesboro.
Mr. Barbour had been a repairman with the telephone company for 35 years until his retirement 10 years ago.
A native of Nashville, he was a son of John Leath and Martha Ann Barbour. He was educated in the public schools.
He married the former Miss Julia Mai Eberhart of Nashville, 42 years ago.
He was a member of Tulip Street Methodist church, Cumberland Masonic lodge, Pioneers of Bell Telephone Co. and Claiborne chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Doris Boner, Nashville; two sons, John C. Barbour ad William W. Barbour, both of Nashville; a sister, Mrs.Frank Hawkins, Nashville and six grandchildren.
