Caera Ellis Hixson, aged 78, of Crystal Spring, died April 21, 1963, in the Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg.
He was born July 17, 1884, in Brush Creek Twp., Fulton County, the son of the late P. Doyle and Susan (Hess) Hixson. He was married to Cora M. (Ensley) Hixson May 28, 1907. She survives with two daughters, Mrs. Mae Fink, Crystal Spring, and Mrs. Elle Garland, Crystal Spring; 12 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
He was a member of the McKendree Methodist Church and the Breezewood IOOF.
Funeral services: Wednesday, April 24, at 11 a.m. at the McKendree Church, the Rev. Henry May officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Conner Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
