Catherine Elizabeth Eisenbeis Jordan, 96, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2011, at Park Terrace.

She was born on February 13, 1914, in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of Martin Wilhelm Eisenbeis and Emma Veronica Kupferer.

Catherine and John Owen Jordan were married on Thursday, December 3, 1942, in Louisville, Kentucky.

She was a homemaker and member of Saint Helens Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Owen Jordan, on August 23, 1990, and her son, John Lee Jordan, on January 16, 2007.

A Celebration of her life will be conducted at 9 a.m. Monday, at the Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 4005 Dixie Hwy. The interment will take place in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Her visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, Louisville.
