MRS. MYRTLE JANE HOFFMAN, wife of Frank L. Hoffman, died at her home 1114 Pope Ave., Friday at 3:30 a.m. of complications after an illness of several years, aged 74.
Born and reared at Smithsburg, she was the daughter of John and Kate Phillips Rudisill. She has been living in Hagerstown for the past 15 years. She was a member of the Smithsburg Methodist Church.
Surviving besides her husband, are children, Mrs. Catherine Cromer, Keedysville; Walter, Hagerstown; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; brothers, Joseph Rudisill, Franklinville, New Jersey; George, Tony and William Rudisill, Hagerstown.
The body was removed to the A. K. Coffman Funeral Home, where services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. the Rev. Edward P. Heinze officiating. Interment in the Smithsburg Cemetery.
