As for Purple Heart it was earned for wounds sustained during the siege for PORK CHOP HILL during Korean War. He was sole survivor of his unit Charley Company. He also received both Bronze and Silver Stars and medals for hand to hand combat and UNITED NATIONS SERVICE MEDAL. Upon his death we the family received a parchment citation from The White House from President George H. Bush on behalf of our thankful nation. Is there anyone for find a grave I can contact or will you add these to my mother who is buried now beside him. They were quite a pair individually and as a couple. They were Mr. and Mrs. Santa and Merry Claus for 20 years going to children's hospitals arriving in a black limousine with my older brother in suit and elf ears as Chauffeur. That's the kind of folks I was raised by every day was a holiday of laughter and happiness and they are missed by many people. This is the best way I can honor them for whom and what I am because of the way GOD made them. Thank you.
