Mrs. Lydia Catherine Hill, 88, of Madisonville, KY died at 8:53 P.M. Wednesday, December 31, 2003, at Versnick Healthcare.
Born July 18, 1915, in Hopkins County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Marion Frances Dame and Mabel McEuen Dame. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John William Hill Sr., two sisters, three brothers and one great-granddaughter.
Mrs. Hill was a member of First Baptist Church in Madisonville where she was very active in church activities.
He is survived by her daughter, Wanda Branson of Anton, KY; two sons, John William Hill Jr. of Sacramento, KY and Raymond E. Hill of Lexington, KY; one sister, Margie Wiles of Shawnetown, IL; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 3, 2004, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Desmond Hargis officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Youth Groups.
