Loyd W. Absher,63, of the Fork Ridge section of Raven,Va.,was dead on arrival to a Richlands hospital.He was born in Raven,Va., and was the son of the late Charlie Allen and Rena(Chambers)Absher.He had made his home in the Raven area since 1978 and was of the Holiness faith. He was a disable coal miner and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.He was preceded in death by one brother--Roy E.Absher.Survivors are his wife--Mrs. Sylvia(Steel)Absher--one daughter--Miss Cindy Absher--five sons--William Lee Absher, Jeffrey Allen Absher, James Phillip Absher, Stacey Matthew Absher and Howard Absher--five sisters--Mrs C.W.(Mattie)Stilwell, Mrs. Rosa Messick, Mrs. Albert(Artie)Keen,Mrs. Joe(Nell)Buckles and Mrs. Bernard(Maxie)Williamson--two brothers--Dewey Absher and James T. Absher.
