Wife of General Evans Dead
Mrs. C. A. Evans, wife of General Clement A. Evans, died suddenly at her home in Atlanta early Saturday morning. The new of Mrs. Evans death came as a great shock to her many friends in the city and will be learned with deep regret by her host of admirers in the state and throughout the south. When she retired Friday night Mrs. Evans seemed perfectly well, but about 3:30 o'clock Saturday morning General Evans discovered that she was dangerously ill and she passed away before medical aid could be secured.
