Mrs. Margaret Ingrid Ramsey, a Peninsula resident for the past two years, died yesterday morning in a local nursing home after a period of failing health. She was 73, born Feb. 14, 1892, in Lansing, Mich. A former resident of Seattle, Wash., and of Santa Cruz, Mrs. Ramsey came to this area to be near her son, M.J. Vercoe of Monterey. In addition to her son, she leaves a sister, Mrs. Esther Riggs of Corona del Mar; a brother, Paul Johnson of El Centro; and one grandchild. Private services have been held in the Little Chapel by-the-Sea. The Paul Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
She was married to James Edward Vercoe in 1915 and 1920 and they lived in Skagit County, Washington.
