Billie Kathryn Burdine, 73, of Eufaula passed away Thursday, April 14, 2011 at the Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa. She was born on February 15, 1938 in Lenna, Oklahoma, the daughter of Marion Earl and Julia Belle (Dobbs) Edwards. She attended Stidham public schools. On October 21, 1955 Billie married John Carl Burdine in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents, one son, Orvil Burdine, two granddaughters, Stephanie Enis and Laura Brook Burdine, one great granddaughter, Ryleigh Kay Enis, five brothers and four sisters. Funeral services were held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the Eufaula Church of Christ with Minister Charlie Bailey officiating. Pallbearers were David Turner, Benjamin Shaver, Joshua Lane, Jaymn Burdine, Jacey Burdine and Gary Edwards. Burial followed at the Lenna Cemetery under the direction of Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory.
