Marvey G. Weigold, 67, of Liverpool, passed away on Wednesday at her home. Born in Crosby, ND, she attended the University of North Dakota and moved to Liverpool in 1976. She was employed by MONY for many years. Upon leaving MONY, she was a homemaker, loving wife and mother, and enjoyed taking care of her family. Marvey was involved in numerous volunteer activities and was a member of King of Kings Lutheran Church in Liverpool where she previously served on the church council as vice president. She was predeceased by her husband, Layton C. Weigold in 1998, and her brothers, Wayne and Malen Dewing. She is survived by her sons, Kendall (Maureen) Dewing of Cincinnati, OH, Keon (Lorissa) Weigold of Liverpool, Kenton Weigold of Rochester, NY; brothers, Gaylen (Wanda) Dewing of Bismarck, ND, Carroll (Crystal) Dewing of Wilton, ND; her sisters, Myrna (Al) Ryberg of Menoken, ND, Jane Dewing of Minneapolis, MN; three grandchildren, Donovan, Brendan, Lizabethe; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 11 a.m. in King of Kings Lutheran Church, 8278 Oswego Rd., Liverpool. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours will be on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 Rt. 31, Baldwinsville. Contributions in Marvey's memory may be made to the Rescue Mission, Dept. IN99, PO Box 11122, Syracuse, NY 13218-9903.
