Obituary--Fred J. Lewis, 59, The Plains, died Wednesday night at Sheltering Arms Hospital. He had been ill since Friday. Born in Athens County, Mr. Lewis was the son of John and Eliza Worden Lewis. He was an employee of the Columbus & Southern Ohio Electric Co. at the Poston Plant. Surviving are his wife, Mary L. Strohl Lewis; three daughters, Mrs. Maxine Smith, Columbus; Mrs. Juanita Stotts, Painesville; and Mrs. Marjorie Savage, Millfield; two sons, Max Lewis, Athens Route 2; and Jerald Lewis, Camp Atterbury, Ind.; two brothers, Frank Lewis, Sharpsburg; and Lee Lewis, Medina; four sisters, Mrs. Forrest Russell, Athens; Mrs. Nellie Smith, Akron; Mrs. Zella Heintz, Colorado; and Mrs. Hallie Keefer, Willoughby; and 16 grandchildren.
