Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the Durand Free Methodist Church, Durand, MI. Pastor George Richards officiated.
He served his country faithfully in the United States Navy during World War II, being honorably discharged in 1946. On June 3, 1950, Paul married Ruth Perry in Lansing, MI. Mr. Anibal graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelors Degree in Agriculture and Economics. He farmed most of his life, first as a Dairy Farmer, then later as a Crop Farmer. He was also a Banker and had managed the Vernon Bank for over 10 years. Mr. Anibal was a member of the Durand Free Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth; 6 children: David (Jenny) Anibal of Camden, MI, Rachel (Doug) Littrell of Durand, Jean (Ron) Bassham of Burton, John (Amy) Anibal of Durand, Mark (Marilyn) Anibal of Mason, Mary (Jim) Newcomb of Daytona Beach, FL; 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 3 brothers: Phillip (Edna) Anibal of Clearwater, FL, Joe (Sue) Anibal of Haslett, Jim (Merrily) Anibal of Durand; sister, Priscilla (Earl) Mann of Highland, MI; sister-in-law, Katherine Anibal of Clearwater, Fl, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Ben and John.
