Mrs. Valentine Winters died at her home on April 14, 1882. She was one of the oldest living residents of Dayton, OH, having been born in the city, or adjoining it, in what is now Harshmanville, January 4, 1810. Her father was Jonathan Harshman, who came to Ohio from New Jersey in 1805. He was one of a party of ninety-six persons who came from that State, most of them settling in Montgomery Co, OH.
