Pleasant Tucker, Ill Since Wednesday, Dies
Pleasant Elsworth (Elzie) Tucker, 75, died yesterday in is home. He had been ill since Wednesday.
Mr. Tucker lived in Decatur 30 years, moving from St. Elmo. He was an automobile mechanic.
He was born in Fayette County, Il., on Oct 14, 1881, a son of Thomas and Susie Tucker.
He was married to Laura Logue, July 4, 1903. She died in 1949.
Mr Tucker leavers three daughter, Mrs. Anna Mae Davis, Mrs. Bertha Tucker and Mry Lucy Groves, all of Decatur; two sons, Thomas and Donald both of Decatur, 15 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
