Johnna R. "Dolly" Smith (92) of Attica, died at 8:30 P.M. Monday, January 11, 2010 at Mercy Hospital of Willard. She was born July 21, 1917 in Shelby to the late John and Ruth (Short) Stickney. Mrs. Smith was married to Carl F. Smith whom preceded her in death in February 1970.
Mrs. Smith was employed at Midwest Industries retiring in 1973. She was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, just friends club and canasta club. Mrs. Smith enjoyed crocheting.
Mrs. Smith is survived by son: Roger F. (Shirley) Smith of Lexington, and daughter: Sandra (Harold whom is deceased) Snyder of Attica. 5 grandchildren: Christopher R. Smith, Deborah L. Markley, William A. Snyder, Sharon E. Heyman and Susan L. Snyder, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 2 brothers: Richard and Robert Stickney.
Friends may call Thursday, January 14, 2010 from 10:30 A.M. until noon at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Attica with funeral services being held at 12:00 noon at the church.. Burial will be in the Attica-Venice Twp Cemetery, Attica. Memorial contributions may be made to AVR Fire District, P.O. Box 94, Attica or the Seneca East Public Library, P.O. Box 572, Attica, 44890. The Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, Attica is in care of the arrangements
