Rachel Lorena Lowe, of Harrison Township, Michigan, entered eternal life on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at the Abbey Nursing Home in Warren, Michigan. She was 106 years old. Rachel passed three days before her 107th birthday.

Rachel was born April 13, 1904 in Goderich, Ontario, the daughter of the late Amos and the late Ann Stewart.

Rachel resided in Wyandotte, Michigan, for 30 years before moving to Warren. She moved to Abbey Nursing Home where she enjoyed dancing and participating in the music programs. She also enjoyed sewing. She sewed a wedding gown for her only granddaughter, Debra.

She is survived by her daughters, Joan (Edward) Mancini and Virginia Cox; granddaughter, Debra (Daniel) Rutty; great grandchildren, Daniel, Nicole, and Joshua; and great great grandson, Joshua.

Rachel is predeceased by her husband, Charles.

Visitation: Tuesday, April 12, 2011 from 5-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road).

Funeral Service: Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 10:30 am at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home. Rachel's funeral was on her 107th birthday.

Interment: Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak
