CALEDON PLANTATION LOCATED CLOSE TO RED DOT ON MAP

1) The Caledon Plantation was located close to the red dot on this map. It was later renamed as the Salisbury Plantation around 1700. Some people referred to it as the Salisbury Caledon Plantation. It was located on the southern side of the Potomac River, in VA.

The Alexander family later sold the Salisbury Plantation, and it was owned by several other families over the years. Eventually in 1974, the last private owner of the property graciously donated a large tract of the plantation land to be part of the Caledon State Park of Virginia, in memory of her husband.
