Born in Douglas, Ga. she was the daughter of Arthur Jordan and Gwendolyn Kirkland McCallum. She was a perioptic technician with Thomasville Eye Surgery Center and a member of Cross Point Church in Quitman.
She is survived by her husband Rev. Steve Atkinson of Quitman, two daughters; Kristen and Donald Cook of Coolidge,Ga., Tiffany and Ryan Fletcher of Valdosta, her father; Arthur Jordan McCallum of Douglas, two grandchildren; Tyson and Maggie Cook, one sister; Peggy Ott of Broxton, Ga. and one brother Arthur McCallum of Broxton, Ga.
Funeral services will be held Friday April 15 at 10:00 AM in Cross Point Church in Quitman with Rev. Steve Atkinson officiating. Graveside services will follow Friday at 3:00 PM in DeBerry Cemetery in Broxton, Ga.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM
