Rebecca Warren, the second Central Ward Relief Society president, brought her family to Central, Graham County, Arizona, in the mid-1880's.

Rebecca Harris Warren was born 21 August 1842 in Bertrand, Michigan, the daughter of John Harris and Lovina Eiler/Iler. In about 1858 she married Willaim Reed Stockbridge Warren in Parowan, Utah, as his third wife. William had five wives and was born 5 September 1818 in North Yarmouth, Maine. Rebecca's three children were born in Parowan: John Stockbridge Warren 23 December 1859, Ella in 1862 who died at age 2, and Emma Jane 17 March 1864.

Rebecca and her children came to Central and joined the new settlement. 31 January 1886 Rebecca was sustained president of the Relief Society and served until she moved to Thatcher 19 June 1887. Her son John was appointed secretary of the Sunday School June 1886 and assistant superintendent of the Sunday School 7 July 1886. Her daughter was second counselor in the Young Ladies Mutual Improvement Association 16 February 1886.

Her son John first married Lulu Belle Allred in 1888, and in 895 married Nancy Jane Packer. Rebecca's daughter Emma Jane married Nelson Alma Mattice in October 1888. The two families went to Oregon later in two covered wagons.

Rebecca Warren died 2 May 1927 in Portland, Oregon and is buried there. Her daughter Emma Jane Mattice died 8 February 1935 in Portland and is also buried there. John S. Warren died 6 July 1946 in Douglas, Arizona and is buried in Bisbee, Arizona, his home for many years.
